Monaco Yacht Show 2011 – Dedication to Yachting

Relevance Web Marketing sailed down to Monaco last week to attend the Monaco Yacht Show 2011. Five consultants from French Alps and Antibes offices descended on Monaco to see the latest yacht models and record all the latest information for client’s yachting blogs, and social media campaigns. RWM consultants at the show included Polly Wakefield (SEM), Davina Harwood (Social Media), Guillaume Mutsaars (SEO), Rumble Romagnoli (Consultant), and Emilia Jedamska (Business Development).

The Monaco Yacht Show is a wonderful experience in yachting, and hosts the crème de la crème in the Yachting Industry. Yachting Agencies were there in force and  RWM clients Fraser Yachts and YPI Group had excellent fleets present including two superyachts Prima, and Meteor. There were also mega yacht shipbuilders from Holland, Germany, and the States. Even shipbuilders from Hong Kong and Australia were there.

The show was split into the main marinas with pontoons displaying motor and sailing yachts. Pendennis brought the largest power catermaran on the planet: Atmosphere. The docks were lined with spectacular stands. There were also 3 large marquis where yachting suppliers offered everything from winter berths, motors, power systems, crew placements, engineering solutions, and yachting insurance.
Relevance Web Marketing are dedicated to the yachting industry and are now present at Yacht Shows in Genoa, Monaco, Cannes, and Fort Lauderdale. A deal during the MYS 2011 will see Antibes Yacht Show and Relevance Web Marketing working together for their show newt April. This marketing move from RWM shows their dedication to the yachting industry and their clients who have been so faithful over the last 5 years.
The show attracted more than 30,000 people from 35 countries with over 60% of yachts measuring over 40 metres. The Monaco Yacht Show is truly dedicated to the superyacht industry. The highlight of the show was to catch up with all our friends at Fraser Yachts at the Captain’s Dinner which included a Maybach car, fantastic Mohitos, an excellent soul singer, as well as lots of great food and awards to well-deserving yacht captains and crew.
RWM highlights of the Monaco Yacht Show 2011 included:
  • Party aboard Mia Elise with JamesList and IYC
  • Fraser Yachts Captain’s Dinner
  • Lunch with the crew from  Boardwalk
  • Meeting Ron Nugent from Westport
  • Interview with Riviera Radio
  • Meeting Stelios
  • Aboard Fraser Yachts RC Yacht owned by Roberto Cavelli
  • Atmoshphere by Pendennis
Relevance Web Marketing  used the opportunity to meet John Dolmen in the champagne lounge sponsored by Lanson and catch up with Cheoy Lee Riviera’s MD Athos Cleanhous at his villa in the countryside behind Cannes to discuss the new website which went live yesterday. We are looking forward to the Monaco Yacht Show 2012.
