The glitzy UK 2019 Search Awards were held Tuesday, November 19 at The Brewery London, where Relevance was short-listed for two awards; Best Small PPC Agency and Best Small SEO Agency.
Held every year, the awards bring together the best of the best in the world of digital marketing, offering a fabulous opportunity to network with best-in-class like-minded industry professionals.
The awards attract hundreds of entries from the leading search and digital marketing agencies in the UK. With 37 categories, the UK 2019 Search Awards aim to celebrate and recognise the best digital marketing strategies, including SEO and PPC campaigns, content marketing, social media, digital PR, as well as leading industry software.
Awards were judged by a panel of 47 international judges, who followed a robust, credible and transparent two-step process, involving pre-scoring and a dedicated judging session.
“While we were disappointed not to win this year, the very fact that we were shortlisted out of the hundreds of other agencies that entered, demonstrates our expertise and the fact that our campaigns are considered to be amongst the very best in the industry,” said Rumble Romagnoli, CEO and director of Relevance.
Edward Quekett, head of digital, added: “Our team had a fantastic night and the opportunity to mingle with the very best professionals in the world of digital marketing was a fabulous opportunity to discuss digital strategy and the latest trends to ensure we continue to excel.”
This year’s awards were hosted by renowned UK impressionist Jon Culshaw, who kept the event’s proceedings lively and peppered with laughter thanks to his catalogue of more than 350 voices, spanning from political figures to celebrities and high-profile personalities. Award nominees and their guests feasted on a delicious three-course meal, with the event wrapping up with dancing into the early hours.
“The number of entries has again risen, and the quality gets better and better each year,” said a UK Search Awards spokesperson. “Our thanks go out to our judging panel who had the unenviable task of shortlisting and deciding who will be going home with a trophy. We’d also like to thank our sponsors and supporters for adding their weight and considerable influence on a competition we’re confident will continue to reflect the talent, expertise, and continuing growth of the industry.”
