Spring is finally upon us and activity in the luxury sector is heating up as well. This weekend saw the return of the Top Marques Show to Monaco; the glamorous principality making a fitting location for luxury exhibitors to show off the best of their products. With Cars, Superboats, Watches and Jewellery amongst other Luxury exhibitors present there was a really eclectic and exciting mix of products and brands on display.
Supercars are definitely the centre piece of the show and are one of its main draws. The show describes itself as “the haute couture of the automobile industry” and this year it certainly didn’t disappoint. With close to 40 exhibitors from the luxury car industry displaying their cars, ranging from small independent bespoke manufacturers to some of the larger more well-known brands it was a car enthusiasts dream. There is nowhere else in the world where you could see so many rare supercars in the same place at the same time. This 10th edition of the show saw an impressive 6 world premieres from the likes of Vencer, Mazzanti, Mansory, Delavilla, Savage Rivale and ISIS.
Top Marques Monaco sets itself apart from other car shows by offering attendees the incredible opportunity to test drive some of the supercars on display. Over the weekend this took place on a closed off section of one of the most iconic race tracks in the world, the Monaco F1 Grand Prix circuit; pretty cool.
For those people without a need for speed there were plenty of other exhibitors to get the heart pumping. The Jewellers Boulle had an extremely rare, uncut 303.20 carat diamond on display in their collection and other luxury products aimed to please female attendees included Mercedeh Shoes, Gaga Milano, Véronique Bamps & Julien Coudray.
On its 10 anniversary Top Marques Monaco provided everything it promised and more. It is the definition of opulence and the heartbeat of all things luxury set against the backdrop of the millionaire’s playground that is Monte Carlo.
