Many business owners are looking at their own website visits in the mirror when they check their Google Analytics accounts. Some marketing departments can be up to 30% out when they chart that web stats are from new non-branded visitors. Many of these visitors can be their own staff or in fact themselves.
Ask your SEO company or your IT department to exclude your office IP addresses from Google Analytics by setting up a filter. This will stop any false data getting through and cloud how well your marketing campaigns are doing.
You could also ask any advertisers what their IP addresses are so you can exclude these visitors too when checking the traffic they are providing.
Expect a huge drop in visitors.
