Relevance yesterday hosted a luxury press trip for UK media to taste the lifestyle of the French Riviera. Invited journalists visited the Monte Carlo Casino, the Columbus Hotel, La Costa Properties Monaco, Carlton Estate in Cannes and were offered dinner by private chef Emmanuel Sofonea and wine tastings from Jules Wines. Transport was provided by Easyjet and WR Chauffeurs. Relevance as a digital PR company, with offices in Nice France, organises press trips to Monaco and the French Riviera.

After landing at Nice Cote d’Azur airport Jean-Michel Parodi and his wife from WR Chauffeurs drove journalists in two comfortable Mercedes Vito vans to Monte Carlo Square and were introduced to SBM press officers who presented the world’s number one Monte Carlo Casino.
The Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco has numerous restaurants and private gambling rooms and journalists were shown around these VIP areas. SBM is the company that owns the casino and they also boast three other casinos in Monaco and prestigious hotels including Hotel de Paris.
After the Casino visit Relevance journalists were invited to the Hotel Columbus*** in Fontvieille for a fantastic buffet lunch with wine. The Columbus Hotel is often linked to the Monaco Grand Prix, being owned by F1 racing stars David Coulthard and Ken McCulloch. Hotel rooms have either seaviews or overlook the famous Rose Garden dedicated to Princess Grace Kelly. Hotel Columbus specialises in corporate trips offering 171 rooms/18 suites and a conferencing facilities for 140. Four-day hotel stays to the F1 in Monaco costs 4000€ approximately.
After lunch, UK journalists were then treated to a savor of Monaco real estate with La Costa Properties Monaco. Writers and journalists, a couple testing Google Glass, took footage of unique properties in Monaco. Visits included a five-story house in Bd du Jardin Exotique, an apartment for sale in the salubrious Carre d’Or and a penthouse in Larvotto. The stunning Monaco penthouse for sale is a premium piece of Monaco real estate and is available at 26,500,000€.
Editors from London then met up with local French journalists in one of the French Riviera’s top properties for 2014, an amazing villa-hotel by Carlton International situated above the bay of Cannes. After a tour by the estate manager, the private chef Emmanuel Sofonea presented a four-course 5-star dinner in the villa dining room alongside Gaëlle from Jules Wines who presented local red, rosé, white and Crémant wines from a local vineyard. Entees included crispy nem of ricotta and fresh pesto, and zucchini stuffed with chorizo, and mains included filet of Guinea fowl with sweet potatoes cake and Madagascar vanilla sauce and cod with baby ratatouille, and peppers sauce.
Philip Weiser from Carlton International finished the evening off with Rumble Romagnoli from Relevance outlining the concierge services available on the French Riviera for high net worth travellers. Each journalist personally experienced the luxury of the Carlton Estate by staying the night in their own private suite. They woke up to an extraordinary sunrise over the Cannes Bay and were invited to a classic French breakfast with croissants and fresh coffee. Journalists were then transported safely by WR Chauffeurs to Nice Airport for Easyjet flights back to the UK.
