Netjets Monaco Press Trip

As part of the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show, Relevance hosted a Press Trip for our client NetJets, the leading private aviation authority. Relevance has worked with NetJets on, and in a very practical sense by giving the visiting press a tour of the greatest annual event for the yachting industry. Press from the Mayfair Times, Porsche Magazine, superyachtlife.com, La Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, Wallpaper Magazine, and other elite publications were present for the NetJets Press Trip to the Monaco Yacht Show.

Press spoiled with VIP treatment in Monaco

The NetJets Press visitors got to experience the real high life of Monaco with luxurious modes of travel and 5-star hotels and restaurants, as well as access to Monaco’s most exclusive events; superyacht parties, galas, venues, and the like. Having experienced the billionaire lifestyle that Monaco has to offer and one of the most exciting times of the year for the principate with the Monaco Yacht Show, we’re sure the journalists were sad to leave.

The Incredible Itinerary for NetJets Press Trip

Day 1:

Journalists arrived in Nice with NetJets flights, and as if this weren’t enough of an insight into luxury travel, they were then transferred to a Monacair Helicopter to Monaco, where they were whisked away to the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Luxury Resort.

After a brief break to refresh themselves from their travels, the journalists hit the roulette at the Monte Carlo Casino. This was followed by a dinner at the Michelin-star Blue Bay Restaurant.

Day 2:

The NetJets Press visitors were treated to breakfast with Relevance client, Fraser Yachts, on board the M/Y Scout. This was followed by a tour of Fraser’s Yachts, including the stunning M/Y Legend.

Having worked up an appetite, the journalists were taken for lunch at the Yacht Club de Monaco with Rumble. The afternoon consisted of a tour of the Cyclone a Riza Tansu boat owned by a NetJets’ owner. In the evening, the NetJets journalists went for cocktails and a private dinner at the 5* institution, the Metropole Hotel.

Day 3:

On the third and final day of the NetJets Press Trip, the journalists visited the Riva and Ferrari Exhibition (marking the 70th anniversary of Ferrari this year), with a tour of the Car Deck Exhibition at the Monaco Yacht Show.

The press members then had the pleasure of lunching with Johan Pizzardini, the Communications and Media Manager for the Monaco Yacht Show 2017.

In the afternoon, the journalists were free to wander Port Hercules and witness all the stunning boats and exhibitors at the show this year, before flying home with NetJets.

It was an absolute pleasure to host yet another incredibly successful Press Trip for Relevance’s client NetJets. We are sure the journalists enjoyed their VIP experience and got the best possible insight into the Monaco Yacht Show from the experts in yacht marketing. We look forward to organising more successful events like this in the future.
