Luxury Yachting Experience with Relevance PR

On September 27th to 28th 2014 Relevance hosted a luxury press trip for UK and US media to provide them with the ultimate luxury yachting experience on the French Riviera.

 

Journalists were invited to attend the French Riviera’s most prestigious yachting events, the Monaco Yacht Show and Les Voiles de Saint Tropez.

Relevance organised an action-packed trip for journalists from Mail Online, The Guardian, Financial Times How to Spend It, Super Yacht World, Superyacht Times and Fish Media, who enjoyed the superyacht and regatta lifestyle for a shining weekend.

The writers flew in to Nice airport from London Gatwick with Monarch Airlines, picked up in a nine-seat van provided by AVIS and were driven to the busy and luxurious Monaco Yacht Show.

Fraser Yachts global marketing manager Lisa Peck accompanied Relevance and the journalists to view the incredible M/Y SEA FORCE ONE 53m superyacht. The superyacht has very impressive staterooms and luxurious amenities and features, including a Jacuzzi on-deck.

The group enjoyed lunch at the Monaco Yacht Club, where the lovely buffet fresh seafood and finely cooked meats.

 

After the gourmet meal, the writers were escorted to view three more exclusive luxury yachts for sale from Fraser Yachts. The superyachts which were toured included: M/Y ULYSSES, the guarded 56m luxury yacht, M/Y YXT ONE, an exclusive new chase boat, and the beautiful M/Y LADY PETRA, designed and owned by Frans Heesen, founder of Heesen Yachts shipyard.

As the show was coming to an end, the journalists were driven to Nice to enjoy a meal in HANgout and a stay in the four-star hotel on Place Massena, Hotel Aston La Scala.

Early Sunday morning, the journalists and the Relevance team set off to Saint Tropez for the famous sailing race, ‘Les Voiles de St Tropez’. The organisers of the event, kindly led the journalists to the port and let them aboard the S/Y KENORA Wally Yacht for a tour.

After walking along the rampart, the group made their way to Pan Dei Palais, where they appreciated a stunning three-course meal, including tiger-tear steak and a blueberry soufflé accompanied by local Provençal wines.

The writers then returned to the port, to be picked up by a Grand Banks boat, courtesy of Les Voiles de Saint Tropez, for a cruise on the Mediterranean, viewing the most incredible sailing yachts in action.
