Looking Back To Go Forward At Relevance: Our Digital Agency’s Year In Numbers

There’s no question that this year has been the strangest we’ve experienced as an agency. Across the world, the COVID-19 crisis has seen most industries severely shaken up, and many will never be the same again. We are proud to have supported our clients through this by leveraging our digital expertise and skills in our community to help accelerate their digital transformation.

Relevance’s digital agency is proud to have continued to grow in 2020. With some exciting plans for 2021, we wanted to look back at what we have achieved this year.

Relevance: Our Digital Agency’s Year In Numbers

Timeline

10 years with Fraser

We celebrated a decade working with Fraser, the world-leading yacht chartering, brokerage, yacht marketing and yacht management agency. Relevance has been Fraser’s exclusive digital marketing partner for 10 years, helping the brand to become the most visible superyacht website on the internet across search, video and image. Our work has included keeping the marketing team up-to-date with the latest innovative digital marketing news, and helping Fraser to rank first for the most important key phrases in the most important locations. Here’s to the next decade in partnership!

537 Relevance social posts

We posted over 500 social media posts across our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn platforms. Our team creates thought-provoking social content to engage with our marketing communities, and we have seen a significant increase in our number of followers. If you follow the social channels of Relevance and our clients, we’d like to say a big thanks to you.

2 New Services

We were delighted to add new services to our portfolio in 2020: Programmatic Advertising and Audience Intelligence. These new solutions allow brands to better understand the tribes within their audiences and improve conversion rates and ROI by targeting more precisely.

Relevance’s digital agency now has in-house audience analysts and programmatic experts to ensure our clients enjoy the very best of these services.

6 new teammates

We gained six amazing team members. We are very proud to welcome Sam Matthews, our programmatic specialist and Niki McMorrough, our commercial director who joins us from Bentley Motors. Furthermore, we also have four new promising interns: Kamila, Christopher, Romina and Marine, our future digital stars!

58 blog posts

Our team created and published over fifty blogs across our Relevance and Relevance Yacht sites, sharing innovative digital marketing insights as well as industry and company news. We have some very exciting content planned for 2021 – just let us know if there’s anything you would like us to produce for you.

14 Relevance academy webinars

We offered fourteen free Relevance academy sessions this year, to help businesses better equip themselves to keep in touch with clients and prospects during these unprecedented times. Covering everything from luxury influencers to SEO competitor research, and spanning social media and content marketing, SEO, paid advertising, digital PR, branding, website development, CRM and more, hosting these live webinars was a great opportunity for us to meet interesting individuals and share ideas. Missed them? The sessions were recorded, so please feel free to watch them here.

4 conferences

Our CEO Rumble Romagnoli spoke at four conferences this year, including DMWF Europe, B2B Marketing Expo, BrightonSEO, and Boussias Athens Beauty Conference. These were a great platform for him to share our most innovative luxury digital marketing ideas with the industry and gain insight from others. All of this year’s conferences had to make a sudden switch to being virtual yet still ran very smoothly, which is a testament to the increasing importance of digital content marketing and virtual events.

19 new clients

We gained 19 new clients this year, some on long-term retainers (360° digital marketing campaign) and some requiring individual project work (brand identity definition, website creation…). Despite all the obvious challenges, 2020 has been a year to digitalise marketing, especially for brands who target Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals, and we are delighted to have provided a healthy return on investment for those who trusted us to support them in this transformative time. Of course we will miss hosting our annual Relevance Christmas soiree which gives our clients a valuable opportunity to network with each other, but we will be making up for this when social distancing allows. We have thrived on delivering digital solutions for our clients, in response to the year’s unexpected events, and look forward to providing more great audience intelligence, content production and high-net-worth targeting in 2021.
