The 2017 Monaco Yacht Show was a huge success, as always, with 125 incredible superyachts gathered in Port Hercules for this amazing international event.
Over these four days, yachting companies and enthusiasts from all over the world gathered in Monaco’s harbour to welcome new yachts, find out about the latest technological advances in the yachting industry and experience the glamorous events that the Monaco Yacht Show has to offer.
The Monaco Yacht Show was also a big event in the Relevance calendar, with the whole team attending, and the London office visiting especially for the show. Of course, many of Relevance’s clients were in attendance and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces as well as making new acquaintances.
Highlights of the event included….
Fraser Annual Press Breakfast
The Fraser Annual Press Breakfast was attended by Relevance and various journalists and yachting professionals alike.
The Fraser Press Breakfast was an exciting event, with Fraser detailing its sales performance over the last year. With many of Fraser’s fleet of superyachts on display in Port Hercules, it was easy to see why the yacht show was buzzing with news of them.
Fraser’s M/Y Legend
The star of the show for Fraser was easily the M/Y Legend, a fully refitted superyacht originally built in 1974 and winner of the prestigious World Superyacht Awards in 2017.
Measuring at 77.4 metres, this ice-breaker comes with an incredible set of amenities, such as a helicopter deck, a pool, jacuzzi and full spa centre, a gym, and 26 staterooms with a themed interior design based around capital cities of the world. The Legend is available for charter and for sale.
Monacair Helicopter on the roof of the Monaco Yacht Club
Monacair, another of Relevance’s clients, which was one of the official partners of the Monaco Yacht Show 2017, treated event-goers to the sight of one of their most luxurious helicopters on the Monaco Yacht Club.
This helicopter was the Blue Airbus H130, which is one of the main helicopters used on the regular line which Monacair runs from Nice Airport to Monaco Heliport.
YPI White Party – 45th Anniversary
Yachting Partners International/YPI celebrated their 45 Year Anniversary at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017 with a glitzy White Party event.
Relevance’s Oasis Party
Held in Relevance’s Monaco office just next to Port Hercules, the event offered delicious cocktails on our terrace. The event was a great opportunity for Relevance to reacquaint ourselves with long-standing friends and get to know the new ones we made at the yacht show this year.
Fraser Captains’ Dinner at Monaco Yacht Club
Held in the Yacht Club de Monaco, the Fraser Captains’ Dinner consisted of an awards ceremony with the most prestigious awards in the industry being handed out to brokers selected by the charter guests.
