As Cannes prepares itself for the 37th edition of the Cannes Yacht Show, Relevance looks forward to what attendees can expect from this year’s exhibition.
The show runs from the 9-14September and more than 580 boats are expected to appear on display in water and on land across two marinas in the beautiful port of Cannes. The event will set the precedent for the Autumn Yacht Show season and, as Europe’s leading in-water exhibition, is hoping to once more draw crowds of up to 50,000 yacht owners, future buyers and industry professionals.
Among the event’s participants, there will be some extraordinary vessels on show including 15 superyacht debuts among the hundreds of other motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans. In total, there will be 40 yachts over 30 metres long of which the 55 metre FB263 Benetti is the largest.
Visitors will be able to find the majority of brokerage yachts moored at Port Pierre Canto, while the Superyacht extension to the Vieux Port is the place to head for the chance to see some superyacht world premieres. In between the two ends of Cannes’ famous Croisette will be a selection of 425 exhibitors from 25 different countries worldwide with stalls featuring just about every luxury yachting service and product imaginable.
